Swiss EP Review 12.19.2015

Phantom IMC The Begiing EP 12.04.2015
After being a selector and then working as a producer for many years, in late 2014 I decided to take the next step on my musical journey and become a recording artist. The first song that I recorded is called “Wine fi me” and is produced by Swiss producer Johnny Roxx. This song gave me the confidence to record more material, so I linked up with my long-time friend and producer Pascal Barro aka Weedy G Soundforce. At his studio I spent time fine-tuning my voice and style, knowing that everyone’s voice is unique and needs time to grow. Weedy G and I have good chemistry and the more riddims he gave me, the faster I became at writing and recording. In less than a year I wrote over 40 songs and recorded over 30. With this massive output, I decided to use some of my songs and put together an EP to officially introduce my art to the world. The name of the EP is called “The Beginning”. The EP contains eleven tracks, five of which have been featured on riddim selections released during the past year. I think by listening to all of the songs on the EP you will hear that my style, flow and pronunciation are very clean and clear. This is something I wanted to bring to our Jamaican music, to make it more appealing to all people in the world, even if you don’t master Patois. Reggae & Dancehall are everything to me and I am so excited to showcase my music to the world. This is truly just “The Beginning”. One Love! Phantom IMC
